Human Captcha
Human Captcha
Date Published: 5th of April, 2024
Design Brief / Philosophy: Since the use of the internet, Captchas have been used to train data-sets for machine learning and recognition. Within the last year, artificial intelligence has been able to request humans to complete these tests on their behalf, absolutely bonkers. We've entered a new age which has blurred what intelligence, humanity and creativity mean.
Our use of our paradoxical brackets in this situation posit that no longer can only humans understand and complete Captchas, and that our own personal data is no longer private.
The 'not a robot' was selected as initial wording for Captchas was ' I am human '. In the recent years, the wording and phrasing has adjusted and changed numerously and the next iterations are sure to be further dehumanizing.
Further edits to the GUI are required before print, overall metaphor and graphic are set.
Timeframe is end of May.
Your intelligence and point of difference exists, its about how we use these tools to ensure that ultimately we aren't used by them.
